Early dismissal
Tuesday, October 22nd is early dismissal. Classes end at 2:10 p.m.
No school
There’s no school on Friday, October 25th.
Universal Nutrition program
We continue to adjust to the needs of our students and are gradually building our inventory of nutritious foods available throughout the day. If your child needs food for any reason (forgot their lunch, cannot bring a lunch, does not have enough food that day, or is simply hungrier than usual), we can provide a snack. Snacks are refilled throughout the day at the office as a convenient 'grab and go!' option.
Grade 3-5 choir
On Friday, October 18th, Mme Jennifer sent out an email to families of all students who have joined the Grade 3-5 choir. If you feel you should have received this choir email, please send an email to Jennifer.engbrecht@lrsd.net to have your child’s name added to the choir list. Members of this Grade 3-5 choir will be participating in a Family of Schools concert in December, which is always such a wonderful community event. The choir form is also attached to this email.
Multicultural survey
As part of École St Germain’s ongoing commitment to prioritize Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism, as well as the LRSD Multi Year Strategic Plan, we are compiling a multicultural calendar of observances, holidays and celebrations that are important to students and members of our community. We ask that each family complete the following survey in order to help us gain a greater picture of the diversity of our school community. This information will also be used to guide and inform future planning for classroom based and school wide activities and assemblies. If you have already completed this survey this year, we have your answers. Thank you in advance.
